HUZZAH! because I just added to my gallery the first complete chapter of Ixion Project. I'm very proud of it, if only because hardly anything i ever write reaches 5,000 words. Plus, I actually approve of most of those words. Astounding.

FAIL. because despite finishing the chapter a week in advance, I did not post it by my deadline of September 29. Instead, I posted it at midnight September 30.

WHICH IS STILL PRETTY DAMN GOOD BY MY MEAGER STANDARDS YAY I CAN MAKE DEADLINES.

It is in desperate need of beta-ing. It has not been critiqued by anyone yet, and it seems my usual critics are deterred by its length.

Also, I officially hate deviantART's formatting system for writing. The chapter looks 60000x better both on LiveJournal and TextEdit. :[ :[

In other news, I'm making a board game. The game rules and mechanics are almost finished. Next comes the physical making of the game components––have I mentioned illustration is not my forte?––and then lots and lots of test runs. It's so exciting! :] :] :]
